– He received the highest decoration, “Vicente Morales y Duárez”, from the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Lima for his contributions to legal science (2017) and has recently been admitted to the “Asociación de Juristas de Iberoamérica”, based in Madrid, Spain.
– He holds five (5) Honorary Doctorates, four (4) in Peru and one (1) abroad.
– He has been awarded the “Medalla Ejército del Perú” by the Peruvian Army (2018)
– He was named “Internationalist of the Year” in Peru in 2010 and 2014
– He holds the highest decoration, “Vicente Morales y Duárez”, from the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Lima for his major contributions to the law of maritime delimitation in the case between Peru and Chile before the International Court of Justice
– He holds the distinguished title of Honorary Professor of the Centro de Altos Estudios Nacionales del Perú – CAEN (2016) and was named “Lecturer of the Year” at the Escuela Superior de Guerra del Ejército del Perú and at the Escuela Conjunta de las Fuerzas Armadas del Perú in 2014.
– He has published 6 books and is a columnist on the international page of the emblematic Peruvian newspaper CORREO
– He is also an international lecturer, having spoken as PETITIONER before the Fourth Committee on Decolonization of the United Nations in New York (2018) and as KEYNOTE SPEAKER before the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco, in Rabat, in 2018
