The Euro-American Committee of Digital Law - CEA Digital Law is organizing, together with the Universidad del Sinú Elías Bechara Zainúm – Seccional Cartagena and the Colegio de Abogados de Cartagena de Indias, the “Duodécima Conmemoración del Día del Abogado colombiano”, which will take place online via Webex on 19 June 2020, from 10:00 to 19:30.
The event will address the training and practice of the legal profession in times of crisis. Speakers will include Eduardo Cantillo, president of the Colegio de Abogados de Cartagena de Indias, and Antonio Tejeda Encinas, president of CEA Digital Law, as well as Marco Antonio Sagastume Gemmell, professor at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, and Guillermo Reyes González, who will speak on the constitutionalization of Decree 806 of 2020.
A panel on the practice of law and virtualization, moderated by Carlos Mario Molina Betancur, will bring together Ernesto Amézquita Camacho, delegate attorney at the JEP, among others. The programme also includes tributes and a musical performance.
