Coimbra to host the “Seminário Internacional Inteligência Artificial e dados pessoais” on 19 November

The “Seminário Internacional Inteligência Artificial e dados pessoais” will take place on 19 November 2024 at 14:00 in Anfiteatro IV, Faculdade de Letras, Universidade de Coimbra, in hybrid format: in person in Coimbra (Portugal) and online via Zoom. The Euro-American Committee of Digital Law - CEA Digital Law is a collaborating partner.

The seminar will offer an interdisciplinary discussion on artificial intelligence and personal data, with speakers from the Universidade de Coimbra and its Centro de Estudos Interdisciplinares CEIS20, from Brazilian universities and from CEA Digital Law. Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, IFHT and LAIS – UFRN also collaborate.

Speakers will include Antonio Tejeda Encinas, president of CEA Digital Law; Angela Dias Mendes, managing director of the CEA Digital Law Brazil Node; António M. Rochette Cordeiro and Sandra Passinhas, of the Universidade de Coimbra; and Ricardo Valentim, of LAIS/UFRN, among others.
