San Andrés de Tumaco to host the VI Congreso Afrocolombiano de Estudios Interdisciplinarios

The “VI Congreso Afrocolombiano de Estudios Interdisciplinarios” will take place in person from 29 to 31 October 2025 in San Andrés de Tumaco, Colombia. It is organized by the Fundación de Apoyo para la Educación Superior de la Población Afrodescendiente and Afrouniversidad, with the support of CASOC, Orbit Media Lab, Meta Channel Corporation and the Euro-American Committee of Digital Law - CEA Digital Law.

The congress will host a dialogue on a university project with an intercultural ethnic approach, within the founding process of the future Afro-Colombian University.

Speakers include Antonio Tejeda Encinas, president of CEA Digital Law, and Pablo Tejeda Zafra, manager of the AIETD Spain Chapter. Their presentations will address digital public policies with an ethnic-differential approach and audiovisual training with its own narrative for Afro-Colombian communities.
