A lawyer of the kind you call «litigantes» (trial lawyers; the term is not used in Spain), that is, one who practices before courts and tribunals.
Member of the Procedural Law Section of the Real Academia Española de Jurisprudencia y Legislación.
Founder of the Red de Abogadas y Abogados de España, whose Congress last year was named best legal event of 2019 one month ago in Madrid.
He served as Dean of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Cartagena for 8 years and as a member of the Consejo General de la Abogacía Española during the same period.
Professionally, in addition to his regular legal practice, he has acted as an expert before the Justice Committee of the Congreso de los Diputados of Spain for the drafting of the new Data Protection Act; as an expert before the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice; and as the Spanish expert in the European legal assistance program for electronic commerce «Eleas» (Ecommerce Lex Easily Accesible System).
As for awards and distinctions, suffice it to mention that last February I received the aforementioned award for the best Spanish legal event of 2019 for the Córdoba Congress of the Red de Abogadas y Abogadas, as well as the award for Best Legal Post of 2019 for the post “Ser abogado no es negocio” (Being a lawyer is not a business).
The courses and lectures are countless; the most recent was delivered at the Real Academia de Jurisprudencia y Legislación under the title “La comprobación del funcionamiento del software judicial español. Comentarios a la Sentencia del Tribunal Constitucional 150/2019, de 25 de noviembre” (Verifying the operation of Spanish judicial software. Commentary on Constitutional Court Judgment 150/2019 of 25 November), a case in which I led the prevailing party.
