Webinar on data protection and privacy in Brazil to be held online on 28 January

The Euro-American Committee of Digital Law - CEA Digital Law is organising the webinar “Proteção de Dados e Privacidade no Brasil, uma Nova Cultura?”, which will take place online on YouTube on 28 January 2021 at 19:30. The session marks International Data Protection Day.

LegisTec, the Associação dos Juízes do Trabalho (AJUTRA), the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and the Laboratório de Políticas Públicas (LPP/UERJ) are collaborating, with the support of Aplicando o Direito.

Angela Dias Mendes, general director of the CEA Digital Law Brazil Node, will give the institutional address. The speakers will be Taciela Cylleno, labour court judge at the TRT-RJ (AJUTRA), on “Desafios da audiência virtual trabalhista”; Alberto Mendes, professor and researcher (LPP/UERJ – UNIGAMA), on “Abordagem ética do ambiente virtual”; and Lourival Moreira, professor, engineer and researcher (LegisTec br), on “Os desafios das novas tecnologias”.
