The “2º Congresso Internacional Online de Direito à Proteção de Dados” will take place online from 25 to 29 July 2022. It is organised by Observatório de Direito Eleitoral – UERJ, with the support of the Euro-American Committee of Digital Law - CEA Digital Law, Terra Civilis, Escola Superior de Direito Eleitoral, IAB Nacional, Mentoria Jurídica and ANACRIM – Associação Nacional da Advocacia Criminal.
The congress is an annual international event on the right to personal data protection. Sylvia Chaves and Vania Aieta act as organisers. The programme will be divided into panels devoted to the main branches of law related to data protection, with speakers from Brazil, Portugal and Spain. They include Angela Dias Mendes, director general of the CEA Digital Law Brazil Node, Cristina Caldeira, Manuel David Masseno and María Isabel Sánchez-Escribano. Registration is free of charge.
