The Euro-American Committee of Digital Law - CEA Digital Law is organising “25N-10D. Women 4.0 – Society 5.0”, which will take place online on YouTube from 25 November 2020 at 20:00 to 10 December 2020 at 10:00.
The event will address digital transformation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution as a framework that widens gender gaps: unequal access to STEM skills, occupational segregation and new forms of violence against women, such as cyberviolence. The dates refer to two United Nations milestones: 25 November, the day for the elimination of violence against women, and 10 December, the anniversary of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The full and equal participation of women in all areas of society is presented as a fundamental human right. Antonio Tejeda Encinas, president of CEA Digital Law, will give an institutional address.
