The PwC USA/UK report explores the global regulatory landscape for crypto-assets in traditional financial services, addressing issues such as jurisdictional equivalence, the globalization of crypto operations and criteria for issuing standards. It features a detailed analysis of the EU’s MiCA Regulation and provides a summary of regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
However, it omits relevant countries such as Andorra, Argentina and Liechtenstein, among others. The summary offers a range of information on government perspectives, taxonomy, regulation, stablecoins, CBDCs, service-provider licensing, financial crime and pending legislation in different countries. In short, it is a valuable tool for understanding regulatory issues at the global level, although it does not cover certain countries of interest.
