Bar Networks
The Bar Networks of CEA Digital Law are not intended to replace lawyers’ own professional associations, their bar associations or their membership of organisations such as UIBA, UIA or FIA-IABA. On the contrary: we support these bodies and institutional professionalism as the foundations of an international legal order based on justice and equity.
Our vision
The Committee approaches the digital sphere through ongoing collaboration between technologists and legal professionals, pursuing synergy and knowledge management rather than confrontation among the actors of the digital society.
We oppose the fragmentation of knowledge that benefits large technology corporations and excludes small groups lacking connection to digital hubs. Through collaboration agreements, we address the shortcomings that professional communities face in the Fourth Industrial Revolution: by combining diverse areas of knowledge, members attain professional excellence in their fields. Cooperation in digital environments requires reputation, and CEA Digital Law provides that credibility as a recognised authority on digital excellence.
