ORGANISATIONAL CHART

Digital Non Profit

CEA Digital Law ® is an international non-profit organisation bringing together legal and technology professionals from both sides of the Atlantic. Its members and officers reflect a broad range of expertise in the field of technology law and across the entire ecosystem of the new Digital Revolution.

At present, the means and levels of international cooperation do not match the scope and speed of the changes brought about by digital technologies. Cooperation across sectors and between countries is essential to realise the full social and economic potential of digital technologies, as well as to mitigate the risks they pose.

Who we are

We are an independent organisation offering a forum devoted entirely to the legal issues of the digital age. We are firmly committed to the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, international law and justice, and to an international order based on the rule of law.

Drawing on the comparative perspective of Europe and the Americas, our mission is to promote and develop knowledge of Euro-American legislation and legal frameworks. In doing so, we contribute to the development of law and of the multilateral economy, and provide a forum for cooperation and the adoption of best practice in disseminating the regulations of each member country.

What we do

Blue world map with network nodes linking America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia

CEA Digital Law ® organises local, sectoral and general conferences on Digital Law, bringing together the finest minds in today’s technology law.

We work as a network with the best technology law professionals worldwide, in a decentralised way and using new disruptive technologies.

How we do it

CEA Digital Law ® thrives on the ongoing dedication of its Committees. We offer Substantive Law Committees and Working Groups (Techs) devoted to specific areas of Digital Law, as well as organisational committees that drive the direction and growth of the organisation.

In addition, we inform and educate lawyers and other legal practitioners, associations, governmental and non-governmental institutions, and companies about the unique legal issues arising from the evolution, production, marketing, acquisition and use of information and communication technology in the new digital legal environment that has emerged from Revolution 4.0.

DigitalMania

In today’s climate of uncertainty, where change is the new normal, we help companies, governments, political parties and society at large through their digital transformation — always from a position of independence. Digital disruption is one of the main drivers of the new paradigm across all areas of business and of public and private policy.

Drawing on our expertise in Digital Transformation, we help public institutions design services and lead cross-cutting projects that improve people’s quality of life.

How we interact

CEA Digital Law ® has established information and working “Nodes” in countries on both sides of the Atlantic, and we continue to grow at a rapid pace. Mutual cooperation is one of the main benefits of these digital relationship Nodes, together with our Women’s Digital Law programme and the Digital Observatory.
