Since then, however, the blockchain ecosystem has evolved rapidly, and many of the challenges foreseen years ago have given way to new opportunities and emerging challenges, such as DeFi, DAOs and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><br \/>\nAlthough the report remains an important milestone in highlighting the need to build evidence-based policy and foster international collaboration, today\u2019s circumstances call for updates that address the technological and regulatory developments that have taken place since. Emerging areas such as digital governance and identity management remain key, but it is now also essential to consider the impact of NFTs, smart contracts and interoperability between blockchain systems.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><br \/>\nAt Meta Channel Corporation, as leading representatives in cybersecurity, digital transformation and the wider architecture of the digital ecosystem as a whole, for both Latin America and Europe, we support the continued evolution of these regulatory frameworks.
