This is because of the efficiencies it can offer, including the security, immutability and reliability of information.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><br \/>\nIn essence, Brazil will issue digital identity cards on a private blockchain developed by Serpro, the country\u2019s national data processing service. All citizens are expected to have access to these documents by 6 November. The main goal is to have a single, reliable and immutable source of information on citizens\u2019 identity. This will help to prevent the use of fake IDs and make it easier for citizens to access public services.
