This is due to the efficiencies it can offer, including security, immutability and the reliability of information.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><br \/>\nIn essence, Brazil will issue digital identity cards on a private Blockchain developed by Serpro, Brazil&#8217;s national data-processing service. All citizens are expected to have access to these documents by November 6. The main objective is to establish a single, reliable and immutable source of information about citizens&#8217; identities. This will help prevent the use of false identification and make it easier for citizens to access public services.
