Although they are called contracts, they are nothing more than computer programs that run autonomously on a blockchain, a decentralized network of computers.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><br \/>\n&#8211; Loans: they allow the creation of P2P (peer-to-peer) lending platforms without the need for intermediaries. These contracts are responsible for automating the entire loan process, from application and approval, to the distribution of funds and interest payments.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><br \/>\n&#8211; Asset tokenization: They make it easier to create and manage digital tokens that represent real assets, such as stocks, real estate, or artwork. These tokens can be exchanged and transferred securely and transparently, allowing for greater liquidity and access to previously inaccessible investments.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><br \/>\n&#8211; International payments: they can be used to facilitate international payments quickly and securely, eliminating the need for financial intermediaries and reducing the associated costs.
