Hackathon Business brings together two industries that have long turned their backs on each other, technology and law, to boost entrepreneurship and innovation in the legal sector.<\/p>

Teams mix programmers, lawyers and other legal professionals, and work on a real challenge from the legal world: for example, legal process automation, access to justice, digital evidence, digital identity, regulatory compliance, privacy, dispute resolution or decision-support tools.<\/p>

    A challenge<\/h3>

    A specific legal problem, proposed by CEA Digital Law, an institution, a company or the community itself.<\/p><\/li>\r\n

    A mixed team<\/h3>

    Programmers, lawyers, researchers and students from several countries, supported by the Tech Areas and the Nodes.<\/p><\/li>\r\n

    Working together<\/h3>

    With a shared goal, methodology and timetable.<\/p><\/li>\r\n

  4. 4<\/span>

    A project<\/h3>

    A tool or a prototype presented at a network event.<\/p><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

    And afterwards:<\/strong> if a project deserves to continue, The Law Factory<\/a> takes it further. A hackathon does not have to end on Sunday afternoon.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
