It was organised by the Observat\u00f3rio de Direito Eleitoral at UERJ, with Sylvia Chaves and Vania Aieta as organisers, and was supported by several bodies, among them the Euro-American Committee of Digital Law &#45; CEA Digital Law.<\/p>\n<p>The programme was divided into panels devoted to the main branches of law connected with data protection, with speakers from Brazil, Portugal and Spain.
